Working with secular political and business leaders, they seek to lift up Jesus in practical ways so that they might be drawn to His leadership and into a personal relationship with Him.
Active in a number of small foundational groups that meet weekly for fellowship around Jesus, they also meet with individuals on a one-on-one basis.
The Kenya National Prayer Breakfast, an annual event, was founded in 2003 and has consistently grown from 400 to 3,000 (in 2019 prior to covid). It is associated with the United States National Prayer Breakfast, hosted annually by Members of the House and Senate since 1953.
The Prayer Breakfast in Kenya involves the Head of State, his Deputy and other senior leaders (Parliament, civil service, governors, academia, religious, business and professionals) with the aim to meet around the person of Jesus, in the spirit of humility and reconciliation. Because it’s a national event (hosted by the Kenya National Parliament), the leadership of the country is invited regardless of religious or political association. It has proved to be a very positive initiative and our prayer is that it will continue to be sustained over many years.
