As ministers with InnerCHANGE, the Long family has the joy and privilege of living and serving in Possilpark, a neighborhood in Glasgow, that is one of the most marginalized areas in all of Scotland. Once a proud working-class community, it is now marked by generational poverty, welfare dependency, drug & alcohol abuse, a post-Christian worldview, and a lack of hope for the future.
However, the Longs see God at work. Every person there is made in His image and is loved by Him. Their desire is for their friends and neighbors to know this truth! By living where they minister, they model a faithful pursuit of Jesus and build relationships through acts of authenticity, service and love. They also work with local organizations as together they seek the flourishing of their neighborhood and beyond.
